amount of child support that the non-custodial parent
pays to the custodial parent is determined by the corresponding
states Child
Support Guidelines. There is a formula that is used to calculate
the amount of child support to be paid by both
the parents. A child has the right to be supported by both
parents, and therefore important that the proper financial
income figures be provided so
that the correct child support amount is obtained.
When
calculating the proper child support to be paid, there are a
number of factors to consider that affects the child support
that is ordered by the court. Some of those issues include, but
